How you get involved
Where you actively get involved in Bpanda — completing tasks, assessing reviews, carrying out jobs, asking questions — and how Bpanda draws your attention to them.
In Bpanda, processes are not described by only a select few: everyone involved uses, examines and improves them. Tasks and notifications show you where you are needed. You can get involved in reviews, jobs and questions about the process.
How Bpanda gets you involved
Tasks are what you have to carry out: carrying out a job, assessing a review, answering a question, renewing an expiring process version. The Home page shows them under Relevant for me > Tasks, all of them together are listed on the My Tasks page. A task disappears by itself as soon as it is finished. See Tasks.
Notifications inform you about what has happened: a job has been assigned to you, a review has started, there is a new version of a process you have subscribed to. Bpanda summarizes what you do not read in a daily email. See Notifications.
Where you participate
Reviews — Before a new process version applies, it is normally examined. As a Review Participant you comment on the overall process and on individual steps and submit an assessment at the end; as a Review Owner you complete the review and decide on the approval. See Reviews and, from the Process Owner’s point of view, Approve and publish processes.
Jobs — With a job you carry out a valid process in everyday work: the activities arrive one after another at the responsible persons, across departmental boundaries as well. You take steps, complete them, skip some or add missing ones. See Jobs.
Questions and answers — For every valid process you can ask a question or make an improvement suggestion in the Q&A tab, even without a review. Process Owners and Process Contributors receive a task for this and answer it there. See Asking and answering questions about the process.
What you see of this and are allowed to do depends on your role; see Roles and authorizations.
