Editing Units and Roles

Four actions that work the same way for organizational units and organizational roles: rename, describe, open linked processes, link units and roles.

Organizational units and organizational roles are managed on the same Organization page and edited in the same sections. The following four actions differ only in what you select first.

Prerequisites

You are a user of the Process Space.

The following also applies to making changes: You are a BPM Manager, and Bpanda does not display the note “The hierarchy of your organizational structure can only be edited in Innovator.”

• Renaming, typing and translating an organizational unit or organizational role
• Editing the description of an organizational unit or organizational role
• Navigating to linked processes
• Linking organizational units and organizational roles

Creating and deleting, on the other hand, differ per object and are described in Managing the Organizational Structure and Managing Organizational Roles.
