Questions from Review Owners

What tasks a Review Owner has and what they need to know about the release process.

Whoever creates a review — that is, a Process Owner or BPM Manager — is initially the Review Owner themselves and can define additional or different ones. The Review Owner is the contact person for all Review Participants. As long as the review is running, they change owners and participants via Manage Review.

The Review Owner decides on the release when completing the review. The released revision is then published by the Process Owner or a BPM Manager.

What are my tasks as a Review Owner?

What this role is permitted to do is described in Roles and Authorizations.

What do I need to know as a Review Owner about the release process?

Before publication, every process version goes through a release process. Its basic elements are the review with comments and a final rating, the release of the revision, and the publication. A revision can also be discarded. MID sets up the sequence of the release process when creating the Process Space so that everyone works according to the same approach.
