Questions from BPM Managers
What tasks a BPM Manager has and which roles they can assign to users and groups in the Process Space and for individual processes.
The BPM Manager organizes the company’s process landscape.
What are the tasks of a BPM Manager?
The BPM Manager structures and publishes a company’s processes in a process map and, together with the Process Owners, manages the users’ roles and permissions.
What this role is allowed to do is described in Roles and Authorizations. How to build the process hierarchy and assign process maps is described in Process Hierarchy.
Which roles can I assign as a BPM Manager in Bpanda?
In the Bpanda account administration, a user can be assigned to one or more groups, see Create Groups.
As a BPM Manager, you can assign the following roles (Process Owners only to individual users, the others to groups as well):
- BPM Manager in the Process Space
- Risk Manager in the Process Space
- Process Owner of a process
- Process Contributor of a process
- Process Participant of a process
The Process Designer role is assigned by an Account Manager in the account administration. As a BPM Manager, you can see the Process Designers in the Manage Users tab, but you cannot change them there.
You can also block users or groups for a process in Bpanda.
