Assigning Organizational Roles to an Organizational Unit

Prerequisites

You are BPM Manager.

You are on the Organization page tab.

Context

You can explicitly assign organizational roles to an organization unit.

Users who are assigned to both an organizational role and an organization unit at the same time cause implicit links.

An explicit link occurs, regardless of the specific user.

How to proceed

1. Click on the organizational unit in the organizational structure.

   The organizational unit's page appears to the right.

2. To assign organizational roles to an organizational unit, click on next to the section header Linked Organizational Roles.

   The Add Link to Organizational Roles dialog appears.

3. Activate the check box to select a role for the organizational unit.

4. Click on Apply Selection to confirm changes.

   The explicitly-linked  organizational roles are marked with a  link icon.
