Customizing a Process Space

As a BPM Manager, you define the use of certain functions and the layout of the Process Space.

On the Manage Process Space page, which you can access in the main menu under Settings, you manage the following aspects of the Process Space as a BPM Manager on the Customize tab:

• Support for multiple languages — Content languages: the languages in which content is displayed and translated. Translating is only possible with two or more content languages; with fewer, Bpanda hides translating throughout the Process Space. Modeling language: the language of new process versions.

• Home page view

  Here you define whether the home page shows only the Process Map, only the Enterprise Architecture or both one below the other.

• Function adjustments

  • Q&A section

    This option enables the ability to ask questions about processes and to answer questions in the Process Space.

  • Attachments section

    If the Show links in description texts as ‘attachment’ icons in process full screen mode option is enabled, Bpanda treats links in descriptions like attachments. If the description of an element contains a link, the process diagram shows the attachment icon (paper clip) there, even if the element does not have an attachment. This applies to tasks, events and other flow nodes, to lanes, data objects and data stores as well as to the process itself. The icon is visible if Icons for Attachments is switched on in the diagram.

• Visibility of the process hierarchy

  Here you restrict which part of the process hierarchy someone sees. To do so, you define an entry point for an organizational unit, organizational role, group or an individual user. Only the level of this entry point and all levels below it are then visible.

• Review labels

  Here you can create new review labels and edit and delete existing review labels.

  To create a new review label, click the plus icon. A dialog appears. In the dialog, you can set the name, description and color of the new review label.

  To edit or delete existing review labels, click ⋮ in the row of the respective review label.

  If you delete review labels that are in use, they will still be stored in reviews that have already been labeled. The deleted review label is no longer available for new reviews.

• Appearance

  Here you define the colors and the logo of the Process Space.

  • Colors section: Primary color and Secondary color. You set the Header background color in the logo card; with the Use primary color as header background switch, you use the primary color instead.

  • Logo section

    Upload a file in GIF, PNG, JPEG or SVG format with a suitable size and a maximum file size of 100 KB as the logo of the Process Space. To do so, click the upload icon and select the file in the standard dialog.
