A Bpanda license alone does not allow a user to model. You grant this authorization by making them a **Process Designer** in the **Process Space** tab of the account management.

## Prerequisites

You are an **Account Manager** of your account.

The future Process Designers have a Bpanda license, see [Assigning Licenses](/en/settings/manage-account/assign-licenses).

## Background

**Process Designers** design and import processes and see all versions of all processes. **BPM Managers** also manage the entire Process Space. For details on what each role is allowed to do, see [Roles and Authorizations](/en/getting-started/roles-and-authorizations).

Only a Process Designer can become a BPM Manager. For this reason, the account management offers you only the Process Designers in the dialog for the BPM Managers. There must always be at least one BPM Manager in the Process Space.

You can assign both roles to users or groups. With a group, for example from Microsoft Entra ID, every new member automatically becomes a Process Designer, and anyone who leaves the group is no longer one. See [Creating Groups](/en/settings/manage-account/create-groups).

At the top, the **Process Space** tab shows how many BPM Managers, Process Designers and groups there are and which functions are switched on in the Process Space. Below that are the sections **BPM Managers**, **Process Designer** and **All Users and Groups in Process Space**.

## Appointing Process Designers

1. Open the account management, see [Managing the Account](/en/settings/manage-account), and switch to the **Process Space** tab.
2. In the **Process Designer** section, click the edit icon.

The **Add Process Designers** dialog appears.
3. Select the checkbox of every user and every group that is to model. Clear it for everyone who no longer should.
4. Click **Apply Selection**.

## Appointing BPM Managers

1. In the **Process Space** tab, click the edit icon in the **BPM Managers** section.

The **Add BPM Managers** dialog appears. It lists only Process Designers.
2. Select the checkbox of the future BPM Managers and clear it for everyone who is no longer to be one.
3. Click **Apply Selection**.

You can also remove an individual Process Designer or BPM Manager from the list using the × in their row.

A BPM Manager can also appoint further BPM Managers in the Process Space itself, see [Appointing a Further BPM Manager](/en/settings/manage-process-space/appointing-further-bpm-manager).

## Opening Analytics

**Open Analytics** in the ⋮ menu next to the name of the Process Space shows key figures on processes, reviews, Q&A, organization and jobs — the same as the **Analytics** tab in Bpanda, see [Using Analytics](/en/settings/manage-process-space/manage-analytics).
