Defining Account Managers

Account Managers manage the licenses, users and groups of your account; you define additional Account Managers, for example as a deputy, in the account management.

Only Account Managers can edit the account management of your account. If you define at least a second one, the account remains manageable in your absence too.

Prerequisites

You are an Account Manager of your account.

The future Account Manager is an account user, see Creating and Managing Account Users.

Context

An Account Manager manages the licenses, users and groups of the account. In addition, they define on the Process Space tab of the account management who is a Process Designer and who is a BPM Manager. The role has nothing to do with the Bpanda roles in the Process Space: an Account Manager is not automatically a BPM Manager, and a BPM Manager is not automatically an Account Manager.

The Account Managers are listed in the Account Manager section on the Account tab, individually under Members or as a group under Groups.

Two rules apply to the list:

  • There must always be at least one Account Manager.
  • Only another Account Manager can remove you from the list.

How to Proceed

  1. Open the account management, see Managing the Account.

  2. In the Account Manager section, click the edit icon.

The Add Account Managers dialog appears.

  3. Select the checkbox of every user or group that is to be an Account Manager. Clear it for everyone who is no longer to be one.

  4. Click Apply Selection.

The Account Managers are listed in the Account Manager section.

You can also remove an individual Account Manager from the list using × in their row.

New Account Managers receive their own registration e-mail. It states what their task is, see Creating and Managing Account Users.
