You define the owners, contributors and participants of a process on the process page, all three under ⋮ **Roles and Permissions**. Anyone who receives a role is notified, and Bpanda subscribes them to the process, see [When You Receive Which Notification](/en/getting-started/notifications/which-notification-when).
