Assigning a Process to a Hierarchy Element
Assign imported processes to a hierarchy element. The linking dialog on the process map of that element then offers them to you directly.
Imported processes initially end up outside the process hierarchy: until you assign them to a hierarchy element, they remain on the right in the Search unassigned processes list. They only appear in the linking dialog of a process map once you switch off the Current Level Only filter there. Processes are assigned by drag and drop; for assigning many processes at once, there is a separate action, see Assigning Multiple Processes.
Prerequisites
You are a BPM Manager.
Context
The hierarchy elements of the process map levels are managed on the Process Hierarchy tab of the Manage Process Space page. Each hierarchy element groups either further hierarchy elements or, on the lowest level, the processes.

The list of hierarchy elements, indented by level, and the processes already assigned are located on the left-hand side.
The processes not yet assigned are listed on the right-hand side.
Both lists are sorted alphabetically automatically.
