Export Process Revisions
Revisions of all processes can be exported.
The export provides a CSV file with one line per revision — process name, process ID, revision and version. It also includes expired, discarded and imported revisions; the responsibilities (lanes) are contained in a separate export, see Export Process Responsibilities (Lanes).
Prerequisites
You are a BPM Manager or Process Owner for the process whose process revisions you want to export.
Context
You can export revisions of all processes to a file in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format. You can export all process revisions here. This includes, among others, revisions that have already expired or been discarded or imported.
You can open the CSV file in Microsoft Excel, for example. Each line stands for one revision, and the columns contain the process name, process ID, revision, version, etc.
How to proceed
-
Select Processes > Manage Processes in the main menu.
The overview page of the same name appears.
-
Select the Actions tab.
-
Select the Export Process Revisions action in the Export Process Data tile.
The page of the same name appears.
The Process Revisions table shows all revisions of all processes. If there are many entries, it is spread over several pages.
-
A filter means less paging: narrow down the list of process revisions using the filters. To do so, click the filter, set the filter and close the filter selection by clicking the filter again.
The table is narrowed down accordingly.
-
Activate the selection fields in Configure Table Columns to specify the table columns and filter options displayed in the table and in the export.
-
Activate the selection fields of the process revisions that you want to export.
-
Click Export [Number] Revision(s).
The CSV export of the selected revision(s) starts.
