You delete the organizational unit via the ⋮ **submenu** in its row; the confirmation dialog names it explicitly. This removes the unit, not its type — you delete types separately, see [Deleting a type](/en/organization/set-types/delete-organizational-type).

## How to proceed [#how-to-proceed]

1. In the row of the organizational unit, click **Delete organizational unit** in the ⋮ **submenu**.

   The confirmation dialog for deleting appears.
2. To delete the organizational unit, click **Delete**.

   The dialog closes.

   The organizational unit is no longer available.
