Deleting an organizational unit

An organizational unit can be deleted from the organization.

You delete the organizational unit via the ⋮ submenu in its row; the confirmation dialog names it explicitly. This removes the unit, not its type — you delete types separately, see Deleting a type.

Prerequisites

You meet the prerequisites from Managing the organizational structure.

You are on the Organization page.

How to proceed

1. In the row of the organizational unit, click Delete organizational unit in the ⋮ submenu.

   The confirmation dialog for deleting appears.

2. To delete the organizational unit, click Delete.

   The dialog closes.

   The organizational unit is no longer available.
