Creating an Organizational Unit
You can create an organizational unit on the top level or on the next sublevel of an existing organizational unit.
Where you click determines the level: the plus icon at the bottom right of the Organizational Structure section creates a unit on the top level, Add Organizational Unit in the ⋮ submenu of an existing unit creates it below that unit. Both ways open the same Add New Organizational Unit dialog.
Prerequisites
You meet the prerequisites from Managing the Organizational Structure.
You are on the Organization page.
Allow Restructuring is deactivated.
Context
You always name the unit in the modeling language. The language set for content in your profile is irrelevant here. See Specifying Modeler Settings.
Organizational units can be marked as external, e.g. insurance companies, banks.
Every organizational unit requires a Type of Organizational Units. Bpanda suggests one, and you can change it in the dialog.
